WHAT IS RECIDIVISM ?
Recidivism is a criminological term which is used for the reoffending in any society or repetition of crime by the criminals even after serving the punishments. it is the very crucial in determining the over all performances of correctional institutions in any society.
As it is mentioned above that recidivism is used as data to measure effectiveness of correctional institutions in the world but unfortunately that thing does not exist in Pakistan. So it is the failure of our leadership to work on effectiveness of our rehabilitation mechanism of offenders, which in return causing high reoffending rate in our country.
