Social discrimination of humans and evils of society

 Human Progress in scientific knowledge has paved the way to ace every hurdle in their way whether it was calamities or wars. Humans minimized the sufferings and maximized the pleasures through scientific progress since the industrial revolution

but unfortunately, it has never been able to gain victory against imbalances and discriminations. Traditionally, every society was divided between classes which further divided these societies between privileged and marginalized ones, which proved the most dominant factor in hampering all achieved progress of human-kind from which it came through since last 2 centuries. Despite these lights of progress and unimaginable increase of wealth and health human sufferings are still far from ending.

 

Despite the achievements in 21st-century human beings achieved, it never comes to the point where one could nod positively and say that there is an end to the suffering of human beings. But it is very far if properly assessed. Global pandemic ignited the lost belief in humanism and struggle for the collective good and heading toward the progressive end but these efforts still stand nowhere when it comes to the practical impact of these efforts.

 

The reason to write this article was to highlight how society is engulfed in an animalistic world despite so much noise of humanism, and people who are calling themselves the champion of human rights and protectors of the world are indirectly marginalizing the poor people through the slow poison of natural calamities, such as global warming because of greenhouse effects.

Various inhumane incidents are occurring routinely but never paid much heed to reduce or somehow help the victims for the sake of their reintegration back into society. Such crimes are honor killing, violence against women and children, human trafficking, and modern slavery in the form of forced labor still rampaging the prosperity of humankind, Millions of women/men are killed worldwide just in the name of so-called honor. according to some estimates, as many as thousands of incidents happen in south Asia which is quite horrific. Many laws had been passed in respective countries to counter these incidents in the future but no significant improvement recorded yet. The reason for such failure is the social conditions, intolerance, uneducated large population, and no comprehensive state policy to take out people from extremist mindset through well-planned initiatives.
